“Solidarity does not assume that our struggles are the same struggles, or that our pain is the same pain, or that our hope is for the same future. Solidarity involves commitment (...) as well as the recognition that – even if we do not have the same feelings, or the same lives, or the same bodies – we do live on common ground.”
– Sara Ahmed

Würzburg Solidarisch e.V. is an independent grassroots association of solidarity initiatives and individuals as well as part of the nationwide network We’ll Come United.
To us, solidarity means taking on responsibility for one another, putting compassion into action, and working together to build a society in which justice is not just an ideal, but becomes a lived reality.
In this spirit, we advocate for the unconditional right to stay and the unrestricted freedom of movementfor all people. We envision a world without borders, built on solidarity, where everyone is free to choose where they can and want to live.
We strive for a free and inclusive society in which diversity is valued as a strength and all people can participate equally – irrespective of their origin, status, gender, sexuality, or religion.
In doing so, we stand alongside refugees and are part of social movements fighting for anti-racism, anti-fascism, inclusion, queer* feminism, and social justice. Together, we create spaces where solidarity is lived, resistance grows, and social change can take place.
